My name is Lubosz Karwat.  I am an artist who is passionate about mosaic. I love to work with noble materials such as stone of all colors, textures and origin. The nobility of onyx, marble or some other hard and difficult to bend precious stones becomes obedient to my will when respect and understanding of its destiny are given.

Often times I must persuade my mind to vision the exact piece of unbending coldness under my fingers to find its rightful place among other chips – finally forming the all agreeable wholeness.

I, and only few others in Europe are applying the Florentine or Platelets techniques. This is because one must be as crazy as I am, to pick up a challenge aiming at long-lasting and time resisting creation of beauty

Even though stone and its noble character is something I love to work with, I also value all form of life and give rest to my mind when design softer arrangements using shells, beads, ropes, seeds or feathers.
