Let’s Meet Through Art

Events Dedicated to Mosaics

Mosaics bring together people, art, and collaborative action. That is why I frequently participate in events focused on this unique technique. Trade fairs, exhibitions, and workshops offer a chance to experience mosaics from an entirely new perspective—while also providing opportunities for conversation and working together.

At these events, I demonstrate how artistic mosaics are created. I also discuss the materials and techniques involved, as well as the various ways they can be applied. This allows participants to gain a deeper understanding of the nature of this distinctive art form. Furthermore, they have the chance to view my own work and get a behind-the-scenes look at my studio practice.

Collaborative Work: A Grand-Scale Mosaic

One notable project was the “Wyspiański at Mogilskie” initiative in Kraków. In 2012, I co-founded this unique project alongside Małgorzata Jantos, inviting the residents of Kraków to personally contribute to the creation of a mosaic in a public space.

A year later, the project returned to Rondo Mogilskie, followed in 2014 by another edition titled “Mehoffer at Mogilskie.” Together, these three events drew nearly 5,000 participants, resulting in the creation of over 180 square meters of mosaic compositions.

Workshops: Learning Through Hands-On Experience

Mosaic workshops offer an accessible entry point into the world of art, requiring no prior experience. During these sessions, I teach the fundamental principles of working with stone and other materials. Participants also learn how to compose patterns and select color palettes.

Furthermore, every session is practical in nature and encourages personal experimentation. I organize workshops in cities including Kraków, Poznań, Warsaw, and Toruń. During the Easter season, I also conduct classes on decorating Easter eggs using the batik technique.

Trade fairs and exhibitions – bringing mosaics to the public

I regularly participate in trade fairs focused on stonemasonry, conservation, and interior design. These events offer an opportunity to view my work and discuss new projects. At the same time, I enjoy sharing my experience and showcasing the diverse facets of contemporary mosaic art.

I have taken part in exhibitions in locations such as Kraków, Dobczyce, and Łask. In 2012, I presented my work at an international exhibition in Clauiano, Italy. In 2018, I co-created an exhibition and a series of workshops for the Stone trade fair in Poznań.

From Kraków to international gatherings

My work bridges local initiatives and international events. In 2015, I won first place in the Gaziantep Mosaic Competition (Gaziantep Mozaik Yarışması) in Turkey. Later, in 2019, I served as a speaker at the International Stone Congress in İzmir.

Such events allow me to connect with others who share a fascination for mosaics, while also helping me refine my craft and gain new insights. Every encounter has the potential to spark a new idea, project, or collaboration.

Discover where you can encounter mosaics

I invite you to explore my event gallery and learn the story behind my work. Through these photographs, you can get a feel for the atmosphere of my workshops, exhibitions, and gatherings—and see how mosaics appear in a variety of settings and contexts.

If you are planning a workshop, exhibition, or art event, please get in touch. I would be happy to discuss potential collaboration, after which I will prepare a proposal tailored to the nature of the event and the needs of the participants.
